The Arts are fine in Neshaminy

I have to take a few moments to thank all those who are involved with the Neshaminy Fine Arts programs. Last week I attended the Drama Show at the high school, and last night I was treated to an amazing performance at the NHS Spring Choral Concert. Neshaminy's Fine Arts is one of those things that separates us from many of the other fine districts in our area. If you've never attended one of these events, you don't know what you are missing.

Thank you to all those students who stretched their talents to the limits, and thank you to all the staff who helped them to reach that far. These were truly inspiring moments!

The Arts are very impressive at Neshaminy. Our family attended several performances this year by the middle school band, orchestra and choir. Those kids work very hard all year and their teachers should be applauded for their fine instruction and talents.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in all of the fine arts programs this year. Poquessing students, for one, did a fantastic job with their choral and instrumental performances! I am sure all of the other schools performed just as well!

It's so amazing to watch how these children progress over the years. They sang so beautifully last night that I felt myself drift away in the music. What a wonderful reminder of why we are here.

There's more music at the high school tonight and tomorrow night - string groups, full orchestra, band groups and more choruses.
