Here today, gone tomorrow

As reported by the Courier Times, Neshaminy superintendent Paul Kadri’s last day on the job is today, Monday November 17th. He will soon be joining his new school district in Groton, CT.

Assistant Superintendent Lou Muenker will serve as acting superintendent until a search can be conducted to identify Kadri’s replacement.

I'll bet some board members are jumping for joy. They worked hard to get Kadri to leave and now it has finally happened. If they focused half of that energy on the kids Neshaminy would be a much better place. I'm glad the board will do a search for a permanent replacement. It gives us all some hope that maybe, just maybe, we'll do better than get a puppet leader.

You don't have to be me to predict what will happen next. Is there really any reason to conduct a search? Wasn't this the plan all along? Why doesn't the board just do the inevitable and get this over with. You've already flushed us down the toilet. Stop pretending.

I have faith in you Mr. O'Connor to make sure that a proper search is conducted. I feel the same way as living in Jersey does. Even though I am sad by Kadri's departure, I have hope things will turn out ok.

What a disgrace this has been. Why would any person want to come to this school district? We don't know what goes on behind closed doors and there is no way to know if the deal has already been done. nostradamas was right.

I call on the board members to ensure that cronyism and nepotism are kept out of the search and that a truly qualified candidate is awarded the position.

I hope that the reapperance of the leader of CARE and/or close relatives of said person are taken notice of by the board. This man cost us all with this renovation plan and should not have favors done for him by certain board members.

It was Mr. Kadri's leadership that was starting to draw in energetic high quality teachers to the district who are truely interested in helping the students achieve and succeed. He has seen substantial improvement in student achievement and in decreasing teacher apathy. What teacher will want to come to such a district where novel ideas are bashed by the school board & community because they are different? It is a sad day to see Mr. Kadri go.
