Did you see the letter to the editor in yesterday's Courier Times criticizing Phil Schieber's take on a controversial school board meeting? According to the letter's author, Susan Holderer, Schieber "cleverly disguises his partisan politics, it's quite obvious that he is launching attacks . . . to further his own political agenda."

I don't know why it took so long for Holderer to send in that opinion (or maybe it just takes the Courier a long time to print it) but it's well worth the wait. People like Schieber are just political puppets more interested in manipulating than helping the district. I would just like to know who pulls his strings. Could it be that retired teacher?
speaking of Mr. Webb...not sure why but I actually emailed him awhile ago to ask that exact question (when will the investigation occur?) and never heard back from him.
Not to beat a dead horse, but I for one will not forget come election time that the issue was never investigated.
If the board believes that having a personnel commitee even comes close to adressing the issue they are wrong. (IMHO)
It's so hard to figure out who on the board and the audience is looking out for the interests of the district and who is looking out for their own interests. I'm thankful for the insights from people like O'Connor and Spitz, and from the people who comment on this blog. Your perspectives help to clear up the confusion caused by too many years of not being involved in district business. I won't allow myself to be uneducated about board politics any more, and I intend on showing that in next year's election.
